Consolidator Grants

1. Type2 (Global Research Program): To provide systemic support for the outstanding researchers to develop to the global leader researchers and for their creative research to produce innovative research outcomes (aiming for global collaborations)

2. Type1: To support individual research with high creativity by cultivating capabilities for the outstanding basic research and by providing the platform for the individual researchers to develop leading researchers.

3. Creative Research program: To support small scale research by providing the outstanding researchers with necessarily sufficient support

4. Merit Rearch Program - type1,type2 Extended supports for the outstanding researchers with excellent outcomes to advance the research outcomes in the previous programs and to produce innovative research outcomes from this program

 *Eligible Individuals: : 

University faculty (full-time/part-time) in the field of science and engineering and researchers at national/public/ government-funded/private research institutes

 *Annual research fund budget: 

 1,2. Type2 (Global Research Program),Type1: 1 to 3 years 4 years (3+1) / 5 years (3+2)

 3. Creative Research program: 1 to 3 years

 4. Merit Rearch Program - type1,type2: 3 years

 *Research period(maximum): 

 1. Type2 (Global Research Program): Around 400 million won per year

 2. Type1: Around 250 million won per year (Up to 0.5 billion won in additional support for global collaboration)

 3. Creative Research program: Around 70 million won per year

 4. Merit Rearch Program - type1,type2: 

 (Type2) Around 400 million won per year

 (Type 1) Around 250 million won per year
