Obtain the latest S&T knowledge and research information and promote research capacity globalization through cooperative research efforts between Korean and Japanese researchers

Promote advancement into large projects by building cooperative networks between researchers

· Program details

Period: One time (length of seminar not to exceed one week)

Research areas: S&T areas, the humanities and social sciences

Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with “universities” (including affiliated research institutes) and “research institutions” as defined under Article 2 of the Sciences Promotion Act, who are eligible to apply for projects in the name of the head of the relevant institution

Funding: Up to KRW 8 million (JPY 727 thousand*) per project

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 JPY = 11 KRW

Summary: Provide support for direct costs incurred from performing research or holding joint seminars
