Diversify global cooperation through expanded research cooperation with European nations and international organizations

Enhance the effect of cooperation with IIASA, to which the NRF is a member

Provide next-generation researchers in Korea with opportunities to learn about and utilize system analysis methodologies of IIASA where interdisciplinary research is active

Period: 3 months (Jun. 1 – Aug. 31, 2019)

Research areas: Programs selected by IIASA and flagship projects

Eligibility: Ph.D. candidates (preferably the graduate students who are expected to obtain a doctoral degree within the next 2 years)

Funding: Around KRW 8 million per person/project (USD 7 thousand)

Summary: Living expenses EUR 3,930 and return tickets
