Diversify global cooperation through expanded research cooperation with European nations and international organizations

Enhance the effects of cooperation with IIASA, of which the NRF is a member

Provide next-generation researchers in Korea with opportunities to learn about and utilize the system analysis methodologies of IIASA where interdisciplinary research is active

Period: 3 months (Jun. 1 – Aug. 31, 2019)

Research areas: Programs selected by IIASA and flagship projects

Eligibility: Ph.D. candidates (preferably graduate students who expect to obtain a doctoral degree within the next 2 years)

Funding: Approximately KRW 8 million (EUR 6,000*) per person/project

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1,350 KRW

Summary: Provide living expenses (EUR 3,930) and return tickets
