Establish a model for a future growth engine whereby young overseas researchers can stay in Korea for an extended period and jointly work with researchers in Korea to produce outstanding achievements, ensuring their mutual growth

Research areas: All S&T areas

Eligibility: Researchers at domestic government-funded research institutes, national and public research institutes, 4-year universities, industries, and enterprise institutes who wish to employ young overseas researchers

Summary: Provide wages and living expenses for young overseas researchers, and institution subsidies

Period: Up to 5 years

Funding: Type 1: Up to KRW 70 million (USD 64 thousand*) annually; Type 2: Up to KRW 40 million (USD 36 thousand*) annually * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
