Support interdisciplinary research on global issues by obtaining the latest research and analysis techniques from IIASA

Establish a channel for a national-level response to global scientific issues

Period: Up to 2 years (training to commence in second half of 2019)

Research areas: Key IIASA research areas (climate change, energy, low birth rates, poverty, food and water resources)

Eligibility: Researchers who obtained a doctoral degree at a domestic university within 5 years

-

Funding: KRW 40 million (EUR 30 thousand*) per person/project/year (training expenses: KRW 39 million; overhead costs: KRW 1 million)

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1,350 KRW

Summary: Provide support for R&D activities for post-doctoral training (required to stay at IIASA during support period)
