Build cooperative networks between the researchers in the two countries and improve the basic research capacity through international cooperative programs with DAAD

Expand partnership through long-term academic exchanges between Korea and Germany

※ Joint participation is available for Korea, Germany, and Japan. The research expenses for each nation’s researchers should be borne by the relevant nation.

Period: 1~3 years

Research areas: All academic areas

Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with “universities” (including affiliated research institutes) and “research institutions” under Article 2 of the Sciences Promotion Act, who may apply for projects in the name of the head of the relevant institution

Funding: (Korea-Germany) Annually up to KRW 20 million/case (up to USD 18 thousand)(Korea-Germany-Japan) Annually up to KRW 30 million/case (up to USD 27 thousand)

Summary: Airfare, living expenses, and other expenses for exchanges of Korean researchers
